The aim of Sutton Bridge Players is for its members to have fun and to try something new. Regardless of experience, we give all members the chance to have a go at all aspects of theatre. From performing on stage to technical design, there’s something here for everyone.

“You won’t get me on a stage!”, “I’ve never done anything like this before”, “I don’t know
anyone so I wouldn’t fit in” and many more comments like these are the reasons why people will not try Amateur Dramatics. Sutton Bridge Players recognises people may not be fresh from the West End, but still have a lot to give. We offer the chance to learn something new and to be part of a community.

Sutton Bridge Players understands that many people have never done anything like this and have such friendly members that you would have to try very hard indeed not to be welcomed with open arms and a cuppa!
We meet every Wednesday at 7:30pm and Sunday evening at 18:30 (unless otherwise stated, so please do message us before turning up). Have a drink and a cake and see what you think of the people who found that same degree of courage, just before you did…
What do our members say?

“I really value being a member of Sutton Bridge Players. I felt included, encouraged and supported from the first day. For me it allows me to indulge in escapism and playful fun away from the heavier aspects of life. What’s not to love!”
